On Wednesday 4 April 2012, I helped to organise a youth-oriented evening of poetry, speeches and Venezuelan food, celebrating ten years since the defeat of the coup in Venezuela.

The event was introduced by Samuel Moncada, Venezuela’s ambassador to the UK. Francisco Dominguez, Secretary of the Venezuela Solidarity Campaign, made a great speech explaining the relevance of the coup attempt.
